COLLEAGUES
"I first met Eva Wasserman in November 2009 in Domžale near Ljubljana, where we were attending a 3-day seminar for clarinet professors from Slovenia. The seminar was held at the Music school of Domžale and saw the participation of students from numerous Slovenian music schools, ranging from primary to secondary (Conservatory) and the Academy of Music. Each candidate prepared a 30 – 45 min programme which was then performed for the audience of professors and Eva in the auditorium.
In Slovenia such trainings and educational seminars for professors and students have been present for some time, so we’ve had the opportunity to host and be taught by many renowned clarinettists, among which J. Balogh, R.Spring, L. Beltramini, S.Osborn, R. Riseling, etc.
I would like to mention that on most seminars the emphasis was on the playing technique itself, i.e. diaphragmatic breathing, tonguing, hand and fingers positioning, etc. As other professors before her, Eva also addressed these issues with a great deal of knowledge and professional experience.
What I noticed and found most distinguishing in her teaching was the way she approached and communicated with the students. She tried to calm the student and convince him/her there was no reason for being nervous whilst playing, as this has a negative effect on the sound of the instrument, the tonguing, ligatures, phrasing and sound warmth. I can easily say she established a friendly, almost “maternal” contact with the students, especially with the beginners.
We’ve remained in touch over the years and I still feel the same warmth and human touch today. Bravo Eva!"

Olen tuntenut Evan jo parikymmentä vuotta. Tutustuin häneen Israelissa Evan järjestämällä mestarikurssilla. Olen nähnyt hänen intohimoisen otteensa opettamiseen, ja aitoon välittämiseen oppilaistaan, joka kantaa heitä läpi elämän. Oppilaat ovat kertoneet, että hän osaa olla tarvittaessa hyvinkin tiukka ja vaativa, siis hyvällä tavalla. Evan soitossa parasta on mielestäni kaunis, pyöreä soundi, jonka eteen hän on tehnyt paljon työtä. Hänen oppilaillaan on sama tarkkuus äänen kvaliteetissa. Eva on mahtava persoona, hyvä ystävä ja rakas "sisko". Eva osaa aina yllättää :)

Eva Wasserman-Margolis is a passionate teacher, eager to make everyone sound their best. The Woodwind Lab clarinetists at Manhattan School of Music greatly benefited from her expert class on sound production. Sajnos videót nem tudtam készíteni, még mindég nem működik rendesen az új rendszerem.De ezeket a sorokat ha tudod, használd szabadon.
Ritkán emlékszem,hogyan kezdődött a barátságunk Eva Wassermannal, de annál több szép emlékre tudok visszaemlékezni. Éva nagyon népszerű tanár volt a magyar zenei táborokban. Növendékei nagyon szerették. Én is. Nagyon hasonlóan gondolkodunk, nem csak a zenéről, klarinétról de az élet más vonatkozásaiban is. Nem véletlen, ugyanabban az évben, és hónapban, pár nap eltéréssel születtünk. Sokszor mondtam is: Te vagy a húgom. Ezért nagy öröm ha találkozunk, ha tanítunk, zenélünk. Kitűnő pedagógus és klarinétos, barát és testvér.

Меня завут Руслан Гросс.
В семь лет (в 1986 году) я поступил в музыкальную школу в городе Мукачево Закарпатской области Украины.
В девяностые моя семья репатриировалась в Израиль, мне повезло поступить в музыкальную школу в Гиватайме и попасть к самому значимому преподавателю в моей жизни, давшему мне вдохновение, Еве Вассерман Марголис.
По окончании школы завершился мой путь классического музыканта, но с 1999 года я играю в группе «Крузенштерн и Пароход» и исполняю композиции лидера группы, Игоря Крутоголова.
Жанр исполняемых группой произведений время от времени меняется. Чаще всего — это смесь музыкальных стилей от джаза до тяжелого металла с развитием композиции, свойственным классической музыке.
В течение долгих лет моей игры в разных направлениях, я стараюсь беречь свою изначальную манеру исполнения, которой научила меня Ева Вассерман Марголис. Она не только помогла мне построить фундамент, на который я опираюсь в игре и по сей день, а также, вооружила меня всем необходимым для моего дальнейшего непрерывного музыкального развития.

Z Evo Wasserman Margoli sem se imel priložnost srečati na njenih delavnicah v Domžalah (Slovenija). V glavnem je takrat delal z mlajšimi učenci in name naredila takojšen vtis, kot zelo energična in angažirana pedagoginja. Otroci so spričo njenih odličnih razlag in sugestij v trenutku igrali bolje. Več kot očitno je, da je Eva vrhunska pedagoginja z izrednim umetniškim ozadjem, kakor tudi izjemnim pedagoškim in človeškim čutom. Pri svojem delu odlično združuje ameriško in evropsko glasbeno izročilo, hkrati pa k temu dodaja še svoj pedagoški pečat.
Zame je bilo srečanje z Evo izjemno doživetje, ki se ga še danes spominjam, mnoge njene prakse tudi sam uporabljam pri svojem delu.
