Thinking Tone: It's First Review!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Thinking Tone" as its eloquent prose challenges readers to think about tone and tone production in new ways. The illustrations of the tonal center and its evolution really hit the mark and are the perfect diagrams to show how the process of attaining perfect tone is never-ending. I will definitely recommend this book to my students as a supplement to their studies. This book will not only help them think about tone differently, it will open up new discussions on tone production. My own teaching philosophy centers on tone and I agree wholeheartdly with everything Eva Wasserman-Margolis presents in her book.
